How can the connection between colour and emotions be portrayed through photography and design to create an audience response?

The Research question is in constant change as my project changes through experimentation and development.

My research question as it stands currently is (at 19/08/19):

How photographic techniques and design outcomes can portray unique individualism through the discovery of self-identity.

I have gone through various versions of my research question which has said the same thing about trying to portray aura through photographs. My main issue is the concept of aura, and what it is, and why it is. Before I can add aura into my research question, I must first ask what makes aura, and how it is portrayed.
